证量以及磨难:
The pratyaksam and the tribulation:

功夫上身了,道要上身,这个是有效验有征候的,功夫有没有到,自己才知道,这个是正信,不是迷信。这是个科学,不是乱讲,道不是空洞的。自己的确有个东西来才有些消息。
Gongfu is on the body, the Tao is to the body, this can be verified and have signs. Whether or not the Gongfu has arrived, you will know. This is a correct belief, not superstition. This is a science, not nonsense, the Tao is not empty. One does have something to come before some news.

清醒自在,没有烦恼、妄念、境界,这时才算有点入门的样子。
证道的人,没有时间、空间的阻碍。十世古今就在当念,亿万年以前,以及亿万年以后都是现在,就只有这一个,没有第二个。空间没有阻碍,没有方位、大小、来去。无边刹境就在自己这里。
Wakefulness and comfortable, without worries, delusions, or realms, only then is it a bit of a start.
There are no obstacles of time and space for those who has witnessed Tao. The ten generations are in the present, hundreds of millions of years ago, and hundreds of millions of years from now, there is only this one, there is no second. There is no obstacle in space, no position, size, coming and going. The borderless land is right here.

功夫到家的人,身轻如燕,夜睡无梦,昼夜长明,永远清醒。
夜醒无梦不算本事,要昼夜无梦,连白天的“梦”也没有。
当修心地法门真正达到某种境界时,真空生妙有,自然涌出事物,这才叫成就(证量)。
People who are quite accomplished in Gongfu, are as light as a swallow, sleep at night without dreams, stay bright day and night, and are always awake.
To be awake at night and dreamless is not a skill, but to be dreamless day and night, not even the "dreams" of the day.
When the method of cultivating the mind really reaches a certain state, the vacuum creates wonderful existence, and things naturally flow out. This is called achievement (Pratyaksam).

功夫到某个程度时,自己就如同灯影中行,觉得是灵魂活在这里。如梦如幻不是形容,功夫到了,整个物理的、物质的现实世界就是一个梦境,不是空话,要真修持到那个境界才是。
When Gongfu reaches a certain level, he is like walking in the shadow of a lamp, feeling that his soul lives here. Dreaming like illusion is not a description. Gongfu has arrived. The entire physical and material world is a dream, not empty words. It is necessary to really practice to that level.

真学般若真修道的人,真正到空性时,自己的磨难就来了!道高一尺、魔高一丈是真实的事,不是假的。如果你说我福报大没有魔障,那你很可能没有道。道不高,魔不来。所以,碰到这些境界,自己要看清楚,反省《金刚经》上的话:是人先世罪业应堕恶道,以今世人轻贱故,先世罪业则为消灭。还要明白,道人空,毁谤不了。空的力量,回转的力量大。谤般若Prajna的人,果报还会回到他自己身上。
Those who truly learn Prajna and true cultivators will have their own tribulation when they truly reach emptiness! "Virtue is one foot tall, the devil ten foot" is a real thing, not a fake[It takes constant vigilance to stave off evil.] If you say that my blessings are great without devil, then you probably have no Tao. If the Tao is not high, the devil cannot come. Therefore, when you encounter these realms, you have to see clearly. Reflecting on the words in the Vajracchedika Sutra: this person who is bound to suffer from evil destinies in retribution for his past sins, and whose karmic Sins are now eradicated by the others' contempt. Also understand that Taoists are empty and can't slander. The power of emptiness, the power of turning is great. Those who slander Prajna, the karma will return to himself.

魔障、磨难是来消除我们自身业力、习气的。没有魔障、磨难,我们自身的业力、习气怎么除去?是根本除不去的。
Demons and tribulations come to eliminate our own karma and habits. Without demons and tribulations, how can we get rid of our own karma and habits? It cannot be removed at all.

魔是业力造的,魔的力量下去了,菩提道果就成功了。修行何以不到家?因为处处有魔障。你刚刚进一步,魔障就来了。你进步一尺,魔障就进步十尺。真修菩萨道不怕魔障,还希望有魔障,所谓“欲坚道力凭魔力”,你每打赢一次,你的功夫就跃进一步。如果被魔磨垮了,你就下去了。修行人不怕魔障,不怕磨难,努力向前。经过一番魔障,道力自会强化一分。
Demons are created by karma, and when the power of demons goes down, the bodhi path will succeed. Why can't practice not be at home? Because there are demons everywhere. As soon as you go further, the devil comes. If you progress by one foot, the devil will progress by ten feet. The true cultivation of the Bodhisattva way is not afraid of demons, but also hopes that there will be demons. The so-called "The power of demons is the key to the strength of the Tao", every time you win, your Gongfu will leap forward. If you are worn down by the devil, you go down. Practitioners are not afraid of demons and tribulation, and strive to move forward. After some devilish obstacles, After some magic obstacles, the strength of the Tao will strengthen one point since.

真的考验在病,病得快要崩溃,自己一点做不了主时,大痛苦时,测验你平生的道力够不够。
The real test is when you are sick, you are about to collapse, and when you can't be the master at all, or when you are in great pain, you can test whether your life strength of the Tao is enough.

来磨难你的都是菩萨。十方世界中做魔王的,都是十地以上的大菩萨。给你反对,给你刺激,给你烦恼的都是魔,都是菩萨变成魔王来试你。“道高一尺,魔高一丈”,魔的力量比道还大。如果你磨不过去,你的道只高一尺而已。魔可是有一丈高。如果你把魔降服了,就跳过了九尺。真受得了魔,打过了这一层,你的道理就跃进一大步。所以说真修道求魔来磨你,魔还不肯来呢!你能受魔王折磨要多大的福气啊!
Those who come to afflict you are all Bodhisattvas. The demon kings in the world of ten directions are all big bodhisattvas above Ten Grounds. Those who object to you, stimulate you, and bother you are all demons, and all Bodhisattvas turn into demon kings to try you. "The Tao is one foot high, and the Devil is ten foot high", the power of the demon is greater than that of the Tao. If you can't get through, your Tao is only one foot high. The demon is ten foot tall. If you subdue the devil, you will skip nine feet. You really can stand the devil, after you get through this level, your reasoning will take a big leap forward. So if you really cultivate the Tao and ask demons to afflict you, demons still refuse to come! What a blessing to you to be tortured by the devil!

正心诚意,百邪不侵。
什么是真降魔?就是不动念,就是清醒。
把自己心理上感受的功能解脱,拿开,身上的病就好了!因为身体本来具有生命本能的治疗力量。越握着感受不放,就越糟糕。
人生的遭遇,没有哪一件不是来磨炼你的。能经得起磨炼,就是真修行人。如果被磨垮了,就完了。
If you are righteous and sincere, a hundred evils cannot invade you.
What do you really use to subdue the demons? -not having a thought, -wakefulness.
Get rid of the function of your own psychological feelings and take it away, and your body's illness will be cured! Because the body originally has the healing power of life instinct. The more you hold and feel it, the worse it gets.
Nothing in life is not for tempering you. A person who can stand the temper is a true cultivator. If it's worn down, it's over.


十四、如何安心
14. How to feel at ease

没有成佛以前,谁的心都不能安。只有大彻大悟,才能安心。清醒就是安心。清醒则心安,心安则心静。这就是佛法。

Before becoming a Buddha, no one's heart will be at ease. Only with great enlightenment can you be at ease. Wakefulness is to calm your heart. Wakefulness means peace of mind, and peace of mind means peace and harmony. This is Dharma.

要从自己心理上检查,过去心不可得,现在心不可得,未来心不可得,不可得的也不可得。
三心不可得,随时研究清楚,过去已过去,未来切莫算,刚说现在,现在已没有了,那就很好嘛!打坐,如何定下来,安下来?两腿没有盘以前过去了,盘了以后,管它气脉通不通,未来心不可得,现在就是盘腿,现在心不可得就好了,不就安下来了吗?
可是大家打坐修道,贪心大的很哪!专想那个未来不可得的,硬想得到它!都在那里幻想!这不是自找麻烦吗?
To check from your own psychology, neither the past, the present nor the future mind can be found, what is unavailable is also unavailable.
The three minds are not available, always study clearly, the past has passed, the future should not be counted, just say now, now there is no more, that's good! Meditation, how to settle down, settle down? After you've done so, you don't care if your qi veins are open or closed, your mind is not available in the future, but now you've got your legs crossed.
But everyone meditates, greed is very big which! They think about the unattainable in the future and try to get it! They are all imagining things! Isn't this asking for trouble?

明心见性没什么了不起,安心最难。真到了安心就成佛。
一切佛法修证,归到最后是两个字:安心。学佛(learn from the Buddha)真正讲起来就只有一件事,就是为了安“心”立命。不管东方或西方的宗教都是为了安心。
There is nothing great about understanding the mind and seeing the nature, and peace of mind is the most difficult. When it comes to peace of mind, you will become a Buddha.
All the Buddhadharma cultivation, in the end is two words: peace of mind. There is only one thing to learn about Buddhism, which is to make life easier for the "heart". Regardless of Eastern or Western religion, it is for peace of mind.

佛法是安心法,是得真实受用的。哪里去安心呢?清醒本安,明白清醒才是我们真正的自己,就不会向外驰求,就没有疑惑了,心里就安稳了。能够时时清醒,就能得真实受用。


十五、如何弘扬佛法
15. How to Promote Dharma

现时代,开新的禅宗,用新的方法,另走一条路,不能再用老法子了,不一定是佛不佛。就是佛,也不会怪你的。只要你有办法弘扬,不管你用哪个方式。大乘菩萨学通了,嘴里没有“般若Prajna、供养、布施、因缘、涅槃”等这些术语。跟不懂的人就不能用这一套,要用普通的语言来讲。
Nowadays, if you start a new Zen Buddhism, use a new method, and take another path, you can no longer use the old methods. It doesn't have to be a Buddha or a Buddha. Even the Buddha will not blame you. As long as you have a way to promote it, no matter which way you use it. Mahayana Bodhisattva has mastered it, and there are no such terms as "prajna, offerings, generosity, karma, and Nirvana" in his mouth. People who don’t understand can’t use this set, they have to speak in ordinary language.

弘法,能够一句佛话也不讲,一个佛字也不提,就能将这个道理教导别人,就是佛法!何必要加一个“佛”字呢?那只是外衣!这个外衣是可以脱掉的。世间法就是佛法。真正的佛法不是宗教,没有宗教的形式,没有形式,没有形象,也不是盲目崇拜。追求宇宙万物生命的根本,才是佛法的真意。佛就是宇宙众生一切的本体。
Propagating the Dharma can teach others this truth without saying a sentence of Buddha or mentioning a word of Buddha. That is Dharma! Why do we need to add the word "Buddha"? That's just a coat! This coat can be taken off. The worldly law is Dharma. The true Dharma is not religion, there is no religious form, there is no form, there is no image, and it is not blind worship. Pursuing the foundation of life in the universe is the true meaning of Dharma. Buddha is the noumenon of all beings in the universe.

自己证到了解脱的境界,得了解脱,然后再为众生说解脱的法门,这样做才是对的。自己悟道了,然后教化众生悟道,这样做不但对自己没有损害,自己的道理越布施出去,智慧就越增加,这就叫无尽灯。
学佛(learn from the Buddha)的人,在家里、在社会都要帮助别人,牺牲自我没有要求,不自私,不为名利,只有一番弘扬佛法的心。
To realize the realm of liberation by yourself, you have to be liberated, and then explain the method of liberation for sentient beings. This is the right thing to do. You have enlightened yourself, and then you can teach sentient beings to enlighten yourself. This will not only harm you, the more you donate your principles, the more your wisdom will increase. This is called endless lamp.
Those who learn from the Buddha must help others at home and in society. They sacrifice themselves without demands, are not selfish, and are not for fame or fortune. They only have the heart to promote the Dharma.

学佛修道是有时机、因缘这个条件的。时机不成熟,因缘不到,纵然你有天大的本事也不能说动他去学、去修。但即便如此,我们也绝对不能放弃任何一个人。所以,在推广普及佛法的事业中,一定不能急躁。一定不要去强迫、逼迫他人去学、去修。要有百倍、千倍、万倍的信心、耐心和毅力,一要积极地去创造条件,努力促使时机成熟、因缘到来;二要耐心地等待,坚信时机一定会成熟,因缘一定会到来。时机、因缘并不一定就是一生一世的,即使他今生无缘学佛修道,但却为来生来世学佛修道种下了种子!换句话说,我们推广普及佛法的工作是绝对不会白费的,在永恒的生命中是一定会生根、发芽、开花、结果的。
To learn from the Buddha practice requires two conditions: time and cause. The time is immature, the cause is not enough, even if you have great abilities, you can't tell him to learn or cultivate. But even so, we must not give up any one person. Therefore, in the cause of popularizing the Dharma, one must not be impatient. You must not force or force others to learn or cultivate. One must have a hundred, thousand, and ten thousand times confidence, patience, and perseverance. First, we must actively create conditions and strive to make the time ripe and cause and fate to come; second, we must wait patiently and firmly believe that the time will be ripe and the cause and fate will come. Timing and fate are not necessarily a lifetime. Even if he has no chance to learn from the Buddha in this life, he has planted the seeds for learning from the Buddha in the next life! In other words, our work to promote the popularization of Dharma will never be wasted. In eternal life, it will surely take root, sprout, bloom, and bear fruit.
